Wolverine football game to be televised on Valley Channel 297


For those Wolverine fans throughout the area who cannot attend the State Class 9A Football Championship Game in person on Thursday, Nov. 11, Valley Telco will be broadcasting the game live on their cable network.

Herreid/Selby Area will be playing the Howard Tigers at 1 p.m. on Nov. 11. The game will be broadcast on Valley Channel 297. It will also be broadcast on the local SD Public Broadcasting System which is Channel 7 on Valley’s system.

Along with the Wolverines/ Tigers game, all of the other football state championship games will also be broadcast on Valley Channel 297 and the SD Public Broadcasting System. Other Thursday games include

• The Class 9B game between Potter County and Dell Rapids St. Mary at 10 a.m.

• The Class 9AA game between Platte-Geddes and Canistota/Freeman at 7:30 p.m.

The Friday championship games include:

• The Class 11B game between Winner and Bridgewater Emery/Ethan at 10 a.m.

• The Class 11A game between Madison and Milbank at 2 p.m.

• The Class 11AA game between Tea Area and Pierre T.F. Tiggs at 7:30 p.m.

The Class 11AAA game between Harrisburg and Brandon Valley will be played at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 13.

All of the State Football Championship games will be played in the Dakota Dome in Vermillion.
