Audrey Bork arrived at the home of Twylah Hollaar Sunday evening after having visited family and friends in Wyoming and Oregon. Monday, Audrey and Twylah went to Bismarck where Twylah had an appointment. They were noon lunch guests at the home of Sid and Marlene Backman. 

Tuesday, there was a committal service held at Hope Reformed Church for Darlene Feil. Pastor Randy Cloud presided over the service and lunch was served in the church basement with a time of remembrance. 

Wednesday afternoon, Myrna Weber, Marlene Dykema and Twylah Hollaar attended the birthday party held at the old school in Strasburg for Irene Biesheuvel’s 99th birthday. Audrey Bork also attended the party. Afterward the ladies listed above visited Betty Vander Vorst in the Strasburg Care Center. 

Thursday afternoon, Marlene Dykema and Myrna Weber gathered at the home of Twylah Hollaar. 

Bleau and Lisa La Fave, Tea, S.D., were guests at the home of Joann Dyk from Thursday until Saturday. 

Mark and Jean Hollaar, Fargo, came to the Hollaar farm on Friday. They were Saturday evening supper guests at the home of Twylah Hollaar. They were Sunday morning church visitors. Dean Vander Wal is spending time with his mother Jane Vander Wal and was also a visitor at the Sunday morning church service. 

Pastor Randy Cloud conducted the Sunday church service. Cydney Cloud was the pianist. Tucker and Dawson Vander Vorst and Weston Van Beek read the Scripture. 

Jim and Deb Vander Vorst brought their grandsons Logan and Dalton Dasko from Minot to the Bismarck Airport to return to their home in Alaska after attending college in Minot. 

Jane Vander Wal stopped in Strasburg on Wednesday to wish Irene Biesheuvel a happy 99th birthday. 

Dean Vander Wal from Raymore, Mo., came on Thursday to help Jane and others on the farm with storm damage work. 

Friday, Jane and Dean Vander Wal went to Bismarck, met Tyler and Sienna Vander Wal to visit, and also went to St. Gabriel’s Care Center to visit Ralph and Rita Wetzstein and Linda Pool. 

Saturday, Jane Vander Wal went to Linton to the reception for Nicholas Fercho who graduated from Hazelton High School. 

Sunday after church, Jane, Dean and Carter Vander Wal drove to LaMoure for their high school graduation commencement exercises. There were 27 graduates. They especially went to watch Molly Musland, daughter of Eric Musland, graduate. They went to the reception at Eric Musland’s country home. It was good visiting with old friends and acquaintances. They also visited with Milton and David Brandner who had their reception at the school. David’s son Ozzie was also a graduate.
