“This was probably our toughest race week of the year, and our team had quality performances at both meets,” said coach Sam Glantzow. “Not only was there a quick turnaround between races, which they will not see again this year, but conditions on Saturday were less than ideal. Still, it was important for Richard and Eli to familiarize themselves with the course before Regions. They get another opportunity at the conference meet in a couple weeks, and I will look for improvement in their times at that meet.”

“The results of these two meets show the nature of cross country,” said coach Sam Glantzow. “We did not run well as a team in Faulkton, but in spite of the conditions on Saturday the boys were able to learn from the results on Wednesday and improve dramatically. I’m pleased that John and Eli earned medals in Hoven. We must continue to improve as we near the end of our regular season.”
