USDA has invested more than $458 million in rural South Dakota
South Dakota’s rural communities have received over $458.7 million in USDA Rural Development funding in federal fiscal year 2012, completed on Sept. 30. During the last four years, USDA has invested more than $1.5 billion in South Dakota, according to Rural Development State Director Elsie Meeks.
